Wow, time sure flies…when you are busy. I was able knit quite a bit and the NEA-RA but haven’t done much on the blanket since I’ve been back. A week after I returned, my mother came up to visit. I could have knitted on it while she was here but I didn’t. I did complete some dishcloths though…I’ll talk about those later.
Here are two pictures of what I have done so far:
I haven’t measured it but it’s about 30″ x 24″ right now. I’m not sure how big it will be, I plan to finish it when I think it looks right. That’s the technical way to do it! LOL
It’s going to be great for winter. Since I’m using 2 strands of yarn together, it will be warm. That’s good since my daughter and her husband just moved into a new apartment. It’s tiny and there is a heater in the living room. I’m not sure how warm it will be in the bedroom but baby will stay nice and warm with this blanket!
My plan is to have the blanket finished by mid October at the latest so it will be ready for my grand baby!
