That’s what I am! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted!
So, what have I been up to these past few months? Too much to talk about here! I did get to Wildflower yarns and knitwear in Manhatten, KS. It’s a cute little shop with a good selection. I bought a couple of skeins of Highland Heather in a purple color. I’m making the A Little Bird Told Me bag with it. This is my second attempt at felting. I still have the first bag I felted. It’s misshapen body is hiding under a table in the corner of the office. I look at it every once in awhile but try to avoid it. It does help remind me that next time I try to felt to pay attention when the project is in the washing machine! It was not a pretty sight!
I’m also working on a pair of mittens using Schachenmayr Ecologico Yarn in the mid naturals colorway and just started the Twinkle Twinkle Bonnet for Emily. She grew out of the Butterfly Baby Hat I made her. The picture isn’t the best; I took it with my cell phone.
I really liked that hat but I have this thing about making the same pattern twice. There are so many wonderful patterns and I want to try them all!!
